Singer Market fire incident: Gawuna commiserates with victims

Kano State Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on Monday commiserate with victims of the early morning fire incident which razed parts of the popular Singer Market in Kano.

He expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident that left shops and goods razed with huge losses and assured that government would take measures to forestall such circumstances in the future.

“I wish to on behalf of myself, my running-mate, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo and our supporters, commiserate and console the traders who lost their valuables in the inferno.”

“I pray may Almighty Allah protect them from such shocking experience in future”.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Hassan Musa Fagge, Gawuna also commended the State Fire Service for responding to the incident.
