NPC to hold a 3-day capacity building workshop for journalists

The National Population Commission NPC will on Monday, May 9th-11th Wednesday, 2022 holds a 3- day capacity building workshop for accredited journalists in preparation for 2023 population and housing census in Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Ag. Director, Public Affairs Department of the commission, Dr Isiaka Yahaya disclosed that the 3-day programme will be held at Jemmyland Hotel, Sani Abacha Road, New Karu, Nassarawa State begining from 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.

The Commission will engage journalists with the theme, “Getting The People Involved” is geared towards equipping the participants with neccessary knowledge and skills for effective coverage and reportage of the 2023 exercise.

The chairman, National Population Commission NPC, Hon Nasir Isa Kwarra will deliver the opening ceremony of the three days event on Monday, 9th May, 2022.

Participants are expected to honor the three days event specified in the letter of invitation.
