Eid-el-Fitr: NSCDC deploys 1,750 men of the Corps to worship ground

To ensure smooth and crime free Eid-fitr celebration in Niger State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Niger State Command deploys a total of 1,750 men of the corps to worship ground, recreation centres and amusement parks across the state.
The State commandant of the corps, Mr. Garba Aliyu Bature disclosed this to IDEALPOSTS in a press statement signed by the public relation officer of the command, Yunusa Mohammed in Minna.
The NSCDC, according to the release said, the operative of the rapid respond squad and plain clothes operatives as well as men armed squad of the command would be on ground to complement the operational activities of the festive period.
He said the command is committed to ensure the safety of life and property of the citizens during and after the Eid-fitr festival, assuring that the command would not relent in its determination to ensure crime free Yuletide in the state.
Already, the commandant disclosed that the 25 local government areas of the state would also be fortified toward ensuring peaceful celebration of the festive.He solicited for the unflishing support and cooperation of the community leaders and other critical stakeholders in the state to provide the command with relevant information on suspicious movement in their midst for prompt security action.
He pointed out that the corps in the state will continue to partner with other Sister security agencies to make the festive period hitch free in the state, assuring that the command will leave above board in making the state crime free at all times.
While wishing all the Muslims fruitful celebration of the Eid-fitr celebration, Mr. Bature urged the religious leaders to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the country.
