Maimartaba Media Solutions signs MoU with Nigerian Army on movie production
…Aimed at supporting Army’s non-kinetic line of operations

A Kaduna based company, Maimartaba Media Solutions Limited; MMS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with the Nigerian Army to produce a movie titled, “HADIN KAI” in a bid at winning the hearts and mind of viewers, for the purpose of promoting peace and stability in the country.
Addressing a Press Conference in Abuja, Director Production, Mr. Shittu John said the film is the first of its kind in Northern Nigeria designed to align with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya.
Mr. John urged the Nigerian movie industries, media and other stakeholders to partner with the Armed Forces of Nigeria towards solving the security challenges facing Nigeria.
The Director Production also called on every segment of the Nigerian society to contribute its quota to complement the efforts of the military and other security agencies to enable them succeed.
He said, “The proposed movie production “HADIN KAI” in conjunction with the Nigerian Army aimed at supporting the military’s non-kinetic line of operations towards achieving national security.
“In spite of the increasing military operations in dealing with the internal security challenges in the country, the spate of insecurity and threat to national security is obviously alarming. This worrisome development has called for the adoption of All-of-Nation approach as a veritable means of effectively tackling the challenges”
Mr. John asserted that the nature of military operations demands stakeholder’s engagements, strategic communication and robust military-media relations through advocacy and sensitization campaigns to help them surmount challenges.
He explained that the aimed of the movie was to preserve and project the cultures, traditions, values, morals and beliefs of the Nigerian Army, adding that it is another way of proving morale-boosting supports to the Nigerian military, who have spearheaded the fight against insecurity.
Speaking further on the importance of the movie, he noted that the movie is expected to create over 1000 direct and indirect jobs for the youths in the areas of Cinematography, Lighting, Acting, Sound and Audio Engineering, Fashion and Costumes, Graphics Designing and Post Production.
“The production of the movie is to commence in the first quarter of 2022 in Kaduna state and to be completed within the period of two months” he said.
