Zamfara state has lots of business opportunities-Finance Commissioner, Yuguda

Commissioner of Finance, Zamfara state, Hon. Safiyanu Bashir Yaguda has said that the state has a lot of investment opportunities ready for any investor willing to come in to do business.

Hon. Yuguda made this assertion while speaking to journalists on Thursday in Abuja at a business forum between Nigeria and Sao-Tome & Principle.

Speaking on the issue of insecurity in the state, the Honourable Commissioner noted that the problem is not Zamfara state alone, but the whole country, adding that the Governor is working assiduously to ensure things are put in order.   

“We are here to look at the investment between Nigeria and Sao-Tome & Principle as they are also here to present opportunities for any investor willing to go to their country to see if they can key in.

“Zamfara is a state that has a lot of investment opportunities and that is why we were given the invitation to come to this event to see how we can collaborate with them in this area of investment.

“The issue of insecurity is a big picture, it is not just only in Zamfara state, I think is the whole country and we are just trying to really manage the problem. So far the governor is looking into the issue of insecurity in the state so as to bring it to an end.” he said.
