NGO: Over 1500 women, children benefit from medical outreach in Abuja

Over one thousand five hundred women and children have benefited from a free medical outreach by a non-governmental organization, “Help Enhance Lives Peace Initiative” in Nyanya, Abuja.
The Executive Director of the NGO, Mr. Jonah Agbaji said the decision to carry out such a program was borne out of the passion to ensure that all Nigerians live normal and happy lives devoid of pain and ill health.
Mr. Agbaji who stressed that millions of Nigerians especially those in the rural areas were living with one illness or the other, called for more support to complement efforts of the Federal Government in stamping out malaria, HIV/Aids and other forms of diseases in the country.
On his part, the program manager of the NGO, Mr. Onojah precious who explained that the NGO was committed to the health and wellness of Nigerians said, similar out reaches would be carried out in the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Some of the beneficiaries commended the efforts of the Help Enhance lives peace initiative foundation for bringing succour to the less privileged and urged other well meaning Nigerians to emulate the gesture.
The event witnessed health talk, free tests, administration of drugs and distribution of food supplements.
