As 2023 general election is fast approaching, the Action Democratic Congress, ADC has expressed its intention and readiness to move the country forward on a productive direction towards a supper power economic development if assumed the leadership of this country from the federal to local levels.
The Director of Communications and Programmes of ADC, Barr. Ifenla Oligbinde stated this while giving the party’s first quarter accountability report at a press conference in Abuja.
Oligbinde noted that ADC has so far made tremendous progress as the party was able to elect representatives across Nigeria, which made it to become the 3rd ranked and most sort out political party in the country.
She revealed that within the period of four months, several Nigerian youths and women organizational leaders have openly endorsed ADC, adding that they have also integrated their structures into the party’s platform.
“Nigerians in the Diaspora have also embraced ADC and have begun to build the largest global Diaspora network-ADC Diaspora Network: ADC-DN, which we have appropriately captured in our constitution as the 7th zone for complete inclusion into all ADC policy and leadership platforms” she said.
The Director of Communications and Programmes said, “ADC is a political party, a catalyst for a new Nigeria with unique identity through our ADC DNA youth and women inclusive, responsibility, transparency and accountable leadership.
“People are still left astonished and confounded that ADC is fast becoming the party that people seek, not because other parties do not exist, but because those parties have failed over and over again to deliver the true democracy which our fathers, their father and their father’s fathers fought for.
“And this has kept people wondering how ADC is able to build a monumental structure that will pass the test of time. The secret ingredient is in our DNA-ADC DNA”
Oligbinde asserted that one of the best ways to change things in a democratic system of government was through votes, adding that since 2023 general election is around the corner, the ADC has galvanized ideas together to win the coming election convincingly.
“The 2023 general election is almost at the corner and setting the framework for a new Nigeria with the right political climate condition to win the coming election convincingly, has dominated our plans and works since the beginning of the year” she said.
