Military Aircraft Crash: FCT Minister expresses sadness over incident, commiserates with family of deceased personnel

The Minister of the Nigeria Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has expressed deep sadness over the crash of the Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft which occurred at Bassan, Jiwa village, Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC in which 7 Air Force personnel lost their lives.

This is contained in a press statement on Tuesday, issued and singed by the Chief Press Secretary, FCTA, Mr. Anthony Ogunleye.

Malam Bello, on behalf of the FCT Administration and the entire residents of the Federal Capital Territory, extends his deepest condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi, the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao and the entire Officers and Men of the Nigerian Air force.

While praying that such an incidence does not occur again, Malam Bello condoled the families of the deceased personnel and prayed for the repose of their souls.
