Finally, ASUU suspends nine-month-old strike

The Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU has “conditionally” suspended its nine months old strike.

The decision announced on Wednesday morning, effectively put an end to a protracted industrial action that commenced in March 2020.

ASUU National President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, who dropped the hints at the Union’s briefing in Abuja, said the development followed consultations with its National Executive Council, NEC of the university union.
