Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Nicholas Sarkin-Noma has urged everyone in Jema’a Local Governmnet Area of Kaduna State to remain calm and desist from taking laws into their hands.

Sarkin Noman advice came on the heels of Sunday’s attack and counter-attacks in Ungwan-Bido, Jema’a LGA of Kaduna State.

He pleaded with indigenes to be patient and allow the Security agents undertake a thorough investigation with a view to bringing the perpetrators to book.

The lawmaker said, “I received with sadness, the news of killings, attacks and counter-attacks in Ungwan Bido and other surrounding Communities within Asso Ward in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

“These incidents happening just a few weeks after an all-embracing Peace submit aimed at fostering understanding and peaceful coexistence is, to say the least, very disheartening.

“The persistent failure to follow due process by all warring parties have always been at the root of all the crises”

He pleaded for the deployment of security personnel to the affected areas to halt further attacks and restore peace.
