3rd Annual Diaspora Investment Summit to hold Nov 20-21

The 3rd Annual Diaspora Investment Summit has been scheduled to hold on the 20th and 21st of November, 2020.
The Summit, with the theme: ‘’Post-Covid-19 Economic Resurgence: Targeting Diaspora Investment’’ will be held mainly to discuss on how to leverage on diaspora Investment among other issues.
The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, while addressing journalists at a press conference organised by the commission in Abuja, said the essence of the 2-day virtual summit was to create an avenue for prospective investors to discuss, saying that this will boost the Economic growth of Nigeria.
Dabiri-Erewa revealed that the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo will declare the summit open.
She stated that the expected guests at the summit include the general participants investors and guest speakers.
According to the Chairman, “The Key sectors of the summit include: Health care, Education, Agric business, Creative, Entertainment and Sports, Telecommunication, ICT/Fintec, Manufacturing and Real Estate”
She encouraged Nigerians in Diaspora to join this year’s summit despite COVID-19 pandemic, stating that the summit will hold virtually.
