The first lady of Bwari Area Council Chairman, in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mrs. Shekwoyemilo John Gabaya, has passed on.
The people from the Area Council, who spoke to our correspondent over the wife of Chairman’s demise, said that the death is a great lost to the people of the community and the Area council in general.
Meanwhile, the Minister of state, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, has condoled with the Chairman and people of Bwari Area Council, over the sudden death of the First Lady.
Dr Aliyu described her death as a rude shock and prayed that: “in this difficult time, the love of God shelters the chairman and eases the pain as he strives to move the council forward.
Special Assistant on Media to the Minister, Mr. Austine Elemue, in a statement, stated that until her death, she was a faithful wife and mother who served her people with love and care.
“It is with great sadness that I learnt of the death of your beloved wife, Mrs Shekwoyemilo John Gabaya, the First Lady of Bwari Area Council.
“She was a faithful wife and mother who served her people with love and care.
“My deepest sympathies to the immediate family, Management staff of the Council and residents of Bwari Area Council for this great loss.
“I am also touched because she died at a time the Chairman is trying to reposition the Council for effective service delivery. I pray that in this difficult time, the love of God shelters you and mend the pain as you move the Council forward” she said.
