Accessibility to good health system is the right of every citizen-NCPC boss


The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that the accessibility to good health system is the right of every citizen.

Rev. Pam stated this during a courtesy visit no him by members of Plateau State Contributory Health Management Agency, PLASCHEME in his office.

He explained that as good leaders, it is mandatory that the health of the people is taken seriously.

In his words “people’s day to day needs must be made available to them and health is one of the needs of the people”.

He commended the Governor of Plateau State, Governor Simon Lalong for providing good and accessible health services for the people of Plateau State.

Rev. Pam assured them that he would do everything possible to ensure that he educates and encourage the people of Plateau State to key into the programme of the insurance health scheme.

Speaking earlier, the Director General of the Plateau State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (PLASCHEME), Dr. Fabong Yildam Congratulated the Executive Secretary, Rev Yakubu Pam for his appointment. According to him, “we are glad and happy that his Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari found you worthy to seat on this seat”.

He called on the Executive Secretary to lend his voice by educating the people of Plateau State on the benefit of the Health Insurance Scheme and to let them know the Scheme is very accessible and affordable to everyone especially the informal sector and religious groups.

He thanked the Executive Secretary for hosting him and his team. In his words “I want to thank you for creating this avenue, it is our desire that God will give you the grace and wisdom to overcome the challenges that comes with this great responsibility”
