Minister of state, Foreign Affairs, bids farewell to outgoing Chinese Ambassador


Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada has congratulated the outgoing Republic of China Ambassador to Nigeria Dr Zhou Pingjian for a successful tour of duty in Nigeria.
He stated this when he received in his office on a farewell visit the outgoing Ambassador in Abuja.
Ambassador Dada described the over three years stay of the outgoing Ambassador in Nigeria as very fruitful ones.
He said the dedication and commitment of Ambassador Pingjian through out his stay in Nigeria had led to the tremendous improvement of relationship between Nigeria and China.
The Minister pledged to continue to ensure sustainability of the already well built relationship between the two continental Giants.
In his remark, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian while expressing happiness and gratitude to the Foreign Ministry for making his stay in Nigeria a worthwhile experience said, he wished he could stay longer.
Ambassador Pingjian said bilateral agreements between the two countries have been growing ever since his assumption of duty three years ago.
He said no matter the level of development of China it would remain Nigeria best and reliable partner.
While appreciating the support and understanding of Nigeria in China’s battle to tackle the outbreak of Covid 19, Ambassador Pingjian also thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their support and cooperation.
He said Nigeria would continue to be a home for him and his family anytime any day.
