Abuja: Isolation centre for coronavirus cases still under construction

Abuja, the Nigeria’s Federal Capital is yet to have isolation centre in case of possible case of coronavirus outbreak.

Ideal posts learnt that the facility being built at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada is far from being completed.

It was discovered that the completion of the facility has been hampered by inefficient funds as the project needs to gobble about N620 million.

Senate President Ahmed Lawan, when he visited the ongoing project on Wednesday, was shocked to find the facility in its present stage.

According to him, “We are going to get across to the Minister of Finance and all the other authorities who have anything to do with this, to release this money between today and tomorrow (Thursday) latest”
